The North Douglas Herald newspaper is published in Drain Oregon, serving Yoncalla, Elkton, Cottage Grove, Curtain, Oakland, Sutherlin, Reedsport, Winchester Bay, Florence, Monroe, Eugene, Roseburg and communities across North Douglas and South Lane counties. With Features of interest to local residents, including City News, Business Matters and Rural Reports. The Community Pages features local School & sports activities, Church directory & news and Events and local Activities and Entertainment. Its the news you have been missing. The Newspaper is mailed and distributed the first of each month. Our, over 3500, circulation includes around 2900 mailed to residences and over 700 distributed at our nearly 40 pickup locations as of February 2024. We have maxed out our print distribution and beginning April issue our print run will be over 4000 copies.
